London launch of The Possibility of Tenderness at Brixton House 19.03.25

Wow, what a night!

The people came from far and wide to listen, connect and to support The Possibility of Tenderness. To have the Masters,  Linton Kwesi Johnson and Roger Robinson in the house was something that a certain young boy from Coffee Grove could never have imagined possible! To say I am humbled would be an understatement!

Much appreciation to the Publishing Team from Penguin Random House: Joelle Owusu and Vanessa Phan, and my agent Harriet Moore from Aitken Alexander for being there – it means the world. Great thanks also to my Publicist, Laura Brookes at PRH, who couldn’t attend, but whose orchestrations were evident.

So much RESPECT to @darkmattermktg for organising and promoting the event. If you don’t know their work, you should definitely check them out and follow them. And thanks to Meera Ghanshamdas & @roundtablebooks in Brixton Village for their support.

So much love for my people who showed up and showed out—and to the new connections and fellowships this book is bringing into my life.

Thank you, thank you!
